The system is environmentally sound as there are no emissions from operation, noise is negligible and it’s infrastructure has a low visual profile. PRT satisfies the requirement to move people and cargos from point to point in an efficient, safe and reliable manner via Smart Pods running through a segregated elevated and/or at grade guideway. The system alignment ideally could be linked to transport terminals, car parks, malls, campuses and other strategic locations. Its substations and guideway could be retrofitted into existing infrastructures without the need of structural alterations.
